HIP HOP

"Well, hip-hop is what makes the world go around."

Hip Hop, House, B-Boying and Funk Styles like Popping and Locking or Dancehall are just a few of the many styles known as "Urban Styles".

What they all have in common is their origin and development outside the traditional dance studio. Street corners, nightclubs, raves, dance halls, youth centers - they were created wherever young people met to play music and to interact. The influence of various cultural and economic backgrounds, different music and other styles of dance on every single urban style means that this genre evolves very quickly and overcomes all social barriers. The power of Urban Styles is impressive: not only does it influence the dancers' way of life but also encourages them to re-explore and develop their own movement language..
