Let's celebrate the power of dance and the magic of movement together! With an event that is unique for Bolzano – and even for Italy.
Inspired by the famous 1 km de danse of the Centre National de la Danse in France, ExtraDanza will spread as a joyful wave on the banks of the Talvera/Talfer, creating a mosaic of movement, emotion and color.
Dancers, interested people, dance enthusiasts and passers-by as well as teachers and workshop participants are invited to celebrate the diversity of dance and dance styles in all its facets on this open-air stage.
Three stations invite you on a journey through the languages of dance: some styles such as Lindy Hop, Pop, Jazz, Contemporary, Modern Taylor or Flamenco will be presented, enriched by inputs from the local dance scenes.
This celebration of dance concludes with a stunning performance.

We are looking for dance schools, amateur groups, associations, artists, and choreographers eager to bring the city to life through movement. From hip-hop and ballet to contemporary dance, traditional styles, and everything in between – bring your creativity, style, and energy to this unique celebration of dance.
