LINDY HOP

"It will be a swingin’ good time!"

Lindy Hop is a dance style that originated in the late 1920s in the great ballrooms of New York.

It is considered the original swing dance and is seen as a forerunner of jive, boogie-woogie and rock 'n' roll. As in ballroom dancing, it is danced in pairs but also individually, whereby the fun in the harmony, the exchange of movement ideas and the music interpretation is highly emphasized.
