VOGUE

"Whether you’re strutting like Naomi Campbell, dancing sassy like Beyoncé, or posing like Madonna, it comes from Vogue."

It’s a dynamic, energetic, bold, expressive, fierce dance that offers a sense of belonging, identity and fun for all people.

Vogue, a highly stylized form of dance created by black and latino LGBTQ communities. Named after the famous fashion magazine, vogue took from the poses in high fashion and ancient Egyptian art, adding more exaggerated hand gestures, body movements, and music to tell a story and express gender performances.
